He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jerome Hyatt Sr. and Margaret Sullivan Hyatt; his son Gregory Hyatt; and his siblings, Barbara Hyatt Esposito, Edward Hyatt and Michael Hyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Schnarr Hyatt; his children, Arthur Hyatt III of Bel Aire, MD, Debbie Wedekind (Chip) of Chesterfield and Susan Rieger of Pennsylvania; and his siblings, William Hyatt (Maryann) of Florida, Kevin Hyatt (Elizabeth) of Florida, Lenore Digregorio (Peter) of Pennsylvania and Margaret Chaves (Paul) of Florida. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
