He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Thomas Rawls and Mildred Rawls; his siblings, Thomas Rawls, Charles Rawls, James Rawls and Mary Rawls Orr; his father-in-law John Taylor; and his niece Tammy Rawls.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Rawls (Taylor); his mother-in-law Frances Taylor; his sisters-in-law, Sheri Brown (Scott), Diane Rawls and Elanie Rawls; his daughters, Amanda McDonnell (Rudy) and Ashley Kittle (Jim); his grandchildren, Brianna Rawls (Ryan Michalske), Lona Kittle, Maddie McDonnell and James Kittle; his brother Wayne Rawls (Pam); his nephews, Jonathan Rawls, Matthew Rawls, Daniel Rawls, Jay Rawls and Dr. Andrew Brown; his niece Shelia Rawls-Beamer; and his friends, Rick and Kelli Wessinger.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Barron Funeral Home (133 Wylie St, Chester, SC 29706). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilksburg Baptist Church (3137 Pinckney Rd, Chester, SC 29706).
