He was predeceased by: his parents, McAbee McAbee and Ruth Steadings McAbee; his sister Ann McAbee Campbell (Claude Campbell); and his mother-in-law Lillie Mae Burell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Burrell McAbee; his sons, Michael Dwayne McAbee of Chester, SC and Matthew McAbee of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher McAbee, Steven McAbee, Layla McAbee, Kendrick McAbee, Briana McAbee and Brexley McAbee; and his brother William "Peanut" McAbee (Niawana) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
