Joyce Louise Engerson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Louise Engerson of Chester, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 85. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joyce Louise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Odell Aydlette and Virginia Louise Poulter Aydlette; and her husband James William "Jim" Engerson. She is survived by: her sons, George Graham Brown, Jr. and Scott Allen Brown; her sister Diane Aydlette; and her granddaughter Wendy Marie Alex.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Word and Spirit Ministries (126 York St, Chester, SC 29706).
