He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Roberts, Jr. and Tillie McClintock Roberts. He is survived by: his sister Jan Roberts Hammond (Edward) of Columbia; his nephews, Clint Hammond (Rachel) and John Hammond of Columbia; his niece Jenny Hammond Gantt (Michael); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gibbs Hammond, Jake Hammond, Palmer Gantt, Will Gantt, Bess Hammond and Lucy Hammond.
