He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simpson Darby, Jr. and Jewell Elaine Darby. He is survived by: his children, Sallie Elizabeth Darby, Emma Louise Darby and James Simpson Darby IV; his nephews, William Whugray Clack and Darby Lee Clack; his niece Jewell DuPre Clack; and his sister DuPre Darby Clack.
