He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred James and Auggie Campbell Burrell; and his siblings, H. B., Carlos, Fred Burrell, Mamie Canupp, Miriam Crisco, Mae Byars, Bobbie Barnes, Ruth Foster and Sara Loving.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Gentry Burrell, Jr. (Lisa) of Chester and Annette LaWayne Tackitt (Glenn Warrick) of San Antonio, Texas; his siblings, Percy Burrell (Helen) of Boiling Springs, SC, Aileen Brown (Harold) of Chester, SC and Jannell Reiter (George) of Taylors, SC; and his pet Weezy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
