He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeddie W. Darby and Mary Bell Allen Darby; his brothers, James Darby and Claude Darby; and his grandsons, Quinn Horne and Andrew Eidson.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Kee of Chester, Sonja Eidson (Bubba) of Warrenville, SC and Eddie Darby (Wanda) of Chester; his grandchildren, Glen Davis, Denise Mathis (John), Melissa Sharrai (David), Beth Edwards, Eddie Darby, Jr. (Brittany), Danielle Rawls (Al), Kyle Horne, Travis Eidson, Adam Horne, Justin Eidson and Brittnee Eidson; his sisters, Mary Davis (Larry) of Chester, Vivian Huntington of Blackstock and Betty Outzs; his sister-in-law Frances Darby; and his brothers, Zeddie Darby (Susan) of Chester and Wallace Darby (Bessie) of Chester. He is also survived by twenty three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
