It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Lafayette Roberts Jr. of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Lafayette Roberts, Sr. and Edna Viola Roberts; and his children, Dean and Darcy. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Roberts; his children, Bill Roberts of Mill Valley, CA, Erik Roberts (Lisa) of Santa Rosa, CA, Marc Roberts of Cambodia, Troy Roberts (Alexa) of Chester, SC, Lance Roberts (Laura) of Chester, SC and Jodie Roberts Smith (RT) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Shylia Perez, Shawna Lee, Nick Roberts (Morgan), Grant Roberts (Caroline), Zach Roberts (Elise), Taylor Birchfield (Adam), Darcy Roberts, Maddie Smith, Aiden Roberts and Emma Smith; and his close friends, Bonnie, Tuck Silva of Grass Valley, CA and Gary Cooper of Anderson, SC.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
