He was predeceased by: his parents, Banks Craig Boyd Sr. and Nina Mae Peay Boyd; and his wife Elaine Campbell Boyd. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Boyd Waters of Chester, SC; his grandson Michael "Joey" Medlin; his great grandchildren, Bryor Waters of Chester, SC and Laney Waters of Chester, SC; and his brother George Milton Boyd (Nadine) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
