He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lloyd Tipton and Mary Lena Mitchell Tipton; his son Travis O'Neil Tipton; and his siblings, Ted Tipton, Linda Melton and Rhonda McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Tipton (Jimmy) of Boiling Springs, Terri DeeDee Tipton (Ryan) of Inman and Katie Vassey (Josh) of Chesnee; his sister Sandy Watt (Mark) of Duncan; his grandchildren, Rylee Burnett, Ryan Burnett, Seth Vassey and Jaidyn Vassey; his sister-in-law Frieda Tipton; and his nieces and nephews, Tina Walker, Dena Sims, Scott Tipton, Brea McBride, Zachary Watt and Jake Watt.
