He is survived by: his wife Frances Hamrick Smith; his daughters, Ann Price of Campobello, Julia Sands and Patty Crocker of Landrum; his brother Rickie Smith of Spartanburg; and his stepchildren, Angela Burrell of Inman, Scott Tapp of Inman and Tina Thompson of Inman.
