He is survived by: his spouse Rita Burke Waddell; his parent Ruth Vaughn Waddell; his sister-in-law Sandra Knighton Waddell; his nephews, Stephen Carroll Waddell and Paul Edward Waddell; his niece Christie Waddell Conquey; and his pets, Garfield and Tara.
