He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Dean and Cora Lee Ervin Davis; his son Jerry Davis; and his siblings, A. V. Davis, Ralph Davis, Everett Davis, Ethel Freeman, Elsie McAllister, Lillian Smith and Aileen Glenn.
He is survived by: his spouse Glennis Cash Davis; his children, Dale Davis, Loretta Davis, Joe Davis (Kristy), Wendy Mabry (Mike) and Susanne Grubbs (Earl); and his siblings, Dean Davis, Robert Davis, Cathy Walker and Sarah Knight. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
