It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max Peterson (Chesnee, South Carolina), who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Peterson and Flora Pitman Peterson; and his siblings, Ruby Towery, Betty Rogers, Juanita Martin, Ann Lawter, Ralph Peterson, Bob Peterson and Gene Peterson.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Elder Peterson; his sons, Brad Peterson of Canton, GA. and Daniel Peterson of Chesnee; his brother John Peterson of Chesnee; and his granddaughter Hannah Grace Peterson.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced at the service.

“I spent many an hour with Max discussing bible facts. I enjoyed his many questions giving me an opportunity to answer from the bible. There are many opinions but Max wanted bible facts. I will always remember him as a kind gentle man who was a lover of God. May he rest in peace until he is resurrection on judgment day. When we will see all our loved ones who are asleep in death resurrected.”
