She was predeceased by: her parents, Doctor Micheaux and Alpha Harmon Jenkins; her former husband John Alton Hines, Jr.; her son-in-law Benny Biddix; her siblings, Lea Grande and Thomas Jenkins; and her grandson Lee Biddix.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Biddix of Belmont, NC, Alton Hines (Wendy) and Leo Hines of Chesnee, SC..

A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Springhill Memorial Gardens (1011 S Alabama Ave, Chesnee, SC 29323).
