It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Parris Shields (Chesnee, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hoyt Dean Parris and Annie Sue Hollifield Parris; and her children, Jane Smith (Wayne) of Lebanon, TN and Shields (Jan) of Chesnee.
Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at Arrowwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Jennings and Rev. Johnny Lee officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
