He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Cantrell and Viola Randolph Cantrell. He is survived by: his son Brent Cantrell of Lake Toxaway; and his siblings, Charles Cantrell (Kathryn) of Mayo, Danny Cantrell of Spartanburg, Dupre Cantrell (Audrey) of Inman, Carolyn Jackson (Danny) of Cowpens and Gail Jackson of Boiling Springs.
