He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leon Miracle Sr. and Ruby Delona Turner Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Kay Turner Miracle; his stepfather Jasper Crawford; his daughters, Renee Greene and Jeanette Delgado (Jose) of Inman; and his brothers, Keith Miracle (Rhonda) of Kentucky, Kenneth Crawford (Daffy) of Kentucky, Jerry Crawford (Vickie) of Kentucky and Wendell Crawford (Bessie) of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
