It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Guffey Jr. of Chesnee, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Haney and James Guffey Sr.; and his granddaughter Arabella Wright. He is survived by: his wife Diane Guffey; his daughter Tiffany Edge; his son-in-law Caleb Edge; his son Albert Carswell (Rhonda); his stepson Jonathan Ratkowski (Jackie); his adoptive son Ben Wright (Destiny); his siblings, Keith Waldron (Sharon), Elaine Fleetwood and Tammy Gobble (Jim); his grandchildren, Lilly, Elijah Edge, Brooklyn Waldron, Aria, AnaPaige Wright, Josh Carswell (Destiny) and Haley Carswell (Matt); and his great grandchild Blakley Mcfalls. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Flowers may be delivered to Palmetto Mortuary by 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 21, 2024, however, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family through Tiffany Edge.
