He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Eklund of Boiling Springs; his daughters, Melissa Eklund of Canada, Cari Claycomb (Cory) of Colorado, Tammy Heroin of Colorado, Regina Wease (Dale) of Boiling Springs and Angela Griffin (Tim) of Spartanburg; his siblings, Janice Hasting (Jim), Janet Groves (Ray), Patty Sue Eklund, Dave Eklund (Cathy), Billy Eklund and Morris Eklund; and his grandchildren, Dusty Walker (Danielle), Chance Nordstrom, Richard Carter (Sara), Brandon McCray, Hannah Walker, Angelina, Vanessa Salvati and Ashley Dawson (Wyatt).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harris - Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park (4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316).
