It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel H. Bagwell (Chesnee, South Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel H. Bagwell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. H. Pruitt and Lola Holtzclaw Pruitt; her husband John Bagwell; and her daughter Nell Gragg. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Drake (Belton) of Cherokee Springs, S. C.; her siblings, Albert Holtzclaw, Henry Holtzclaw and Margaret Beam; her son Keith Bagwell of Forest City; and her siblings, Frank Holtzclaw of Cliffside, Betty Phillips (Tommy) of Forest City and Genell Henson of Forest City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherokee Springs Baptist Church, 2699 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
