She is survived by: her children, Walter Depass Burgess (Doris) of Chesnee, SC, Ceceila Diane Burgess and Demetria Fernanders of Spartanburg, SC; and her sister-in-law Mattie Young. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, forty -eight great-grandchildren and twenty great-great grandchildren.
