She was predeceased by: her spouse Melvin Gowan; her parent Bennie Miller; her daughter Brenda Layman; and her grandson Jeremy Glenn Walker. She is survived by: her parent Lizzie Miller of Sherman; her children, Janice Walker and Glenn Gowan; her grandchildren, Joshua Walker (Crystal) of Chesnee, Brandi Puckett (Austin) of Chesnee, Britni Wood (Jeffery) of Okinawa and Japan; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Puckett, Kirk, Drake, Katileen Wood, Landon and Easton Walker.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cooley Springs Baptist Church, 950 Martin Camp Road, Chesnee, S. C. Family is at the home of Melvin Glenn Gowan, 435 Martin Camp Road, Chesnee, S. C.
