He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Eva Shehan (Jack) of Chesnee, SC, Crystal Calvert Kirby of Spartanburg, SC and Lewis Gerald Burnett of Germany; his grandchildren, Charlie Shehan, Lewis Shehan, Rebecca Shehan, Ali Buffkin, Deanna Calvert and Seth Calvert; and his siblings, Howard Lee Kirby and Patsy Motts of Pacolet, SC.
