He is survived by: his stepson Billy Henderson of Chesnee; his daughter Tonya Fleming of Campobello; his stepdaughters, Tammy Bergmann (David) of Chesnee and Maxine Godwin (Dale) of Chesnee; and his siblings, Ray Hamrick (Carol) of Lincolnton, Jerry Hamrick of Duncan, Hoyt Hamrick of Chesnee, Vivian Wilson of Chesnee, Frances Smith of Inman, Karen Cathcart (Mike) of Moore, Gloria Dean (James) of Chesnee and Beth White (Jim) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Brooklyn Baptist Church (8449 Parris Bridge Rd, Chesnee, SC 29323). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brooklyn Baptist Church Cemetery (8449 Parris Bridge Rd, Chesnee, SC 29323).
