He is survived by: his sisters, Jennelle Hill of Forest City and Patsy Strother of Tryon; his son-in-law Tim Orr of Gaffney; his granddaughter Lindsey Orr of Gaffney; and his caregivers, Betty Natzke, Chrissy Turner and Wendy Moore.
