She was predeceased by: her significant other Joe Wheeler; her parents, Jacques Smith and Betty Lou Smith; her grandson Matthew Page; and her pet Mitzi.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tammy Foster (Brent) and Dave Smith (Laura); her children, Dana Fowler, Davina Hayes (Kevin), Charlianne Nestlen (Homer) and David Ray Cannon, II; her granddaughter Chelsey Jackson; her aunt Amaryllis Smith Almond; her cousin Emily Compton; and her friend Joe. She is also survived by five grandsons, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Harris - Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park (4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316).
She battled Parkinson's for over 20 years and spent her last final years in Ashlan Village and Valley Falls Terrace.
