It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvaro Fernandez Sr. (Chesnee, South Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Chaves Fernandez; his parents, Hernando Gomez and Tulia Fernandez; his children, Al Fernandez (Paula), Ricardo Fernandez, Diana Fernandez and Julie Ramey (David); his grandchildren, Nicholas Wilbanks and Sophia Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Ripley "Lola".
