He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Manning and Josie Petty Huggins; his son Tommy Huggins; his brother Walker Huggins, Jr. (Sammy Huggins); and his mother-in-law Carrie Parker.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Huggins; his children, Chris Huggins (Wendy) of Cheraw, SC, Jamie Huggins (Carisa) of Cheraw, SC, Dena Kimrey (Julian) of Wallace, SC and Alison Melton (Jake) of Cheraw, SC; his siblings, James Huggins (Carolyn) of Florence, SC, Johnny Huggins of Cheraw, SC and Betty Jo Johnson of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Dakota Huggins (Alice), Cheyenne Huggins, Houston Kimrey, Carie Huggins, Clayton Melton, Allie Huggins, Josie Melton, Noah Huggins, Avery Melton, Chelsea Blackwelder and Jake Huggins; his great grandchild Sawyer Huggins; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Parker and Rita Brock; and his nieces, Ashleigh Johnson and Danie Brock. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
