He was predeceased by: his parents, Barton Augustus and Rebecca "Reba" McBride Threatte; his son John Wayne Threatte; and his brother Johnny Threatte. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Roscoe Threatte; his daughter Joan Threatte Bobbitt of Warner, NH; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Augeri (Steve) of Warner, NH, Wayne Threatte, Jr. (Cheryl) of Florence, SC and Minta Threatte of Florence, SC. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
