She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Dougel Anderson Stalnaker and William B. Stalnaker. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Carter Wheeler; her nephew Mark C. Wheeler (Katherine) of Simpsonville, SC; her niece Jennifer W. Dennis (Charles) of Virginia Beach, VA; her brother Jamie A. Stalnaker (Peggy) of Washington, D. C.; and her sister-in-law Anne Wheeler of Powhatan, VA..
