She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Creech and Elise Quick Hazel Creech; her husband Curtis Melton Polston, Sr.; her son Curtis Melton Polston, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Ashleigh Polston; and her brother-in-law Alfred White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy P. Freeman (James) of Cheraw, SC and Denise Garland (Randy) of Duncan, SC; and her siblings, James Randolph Creech (Ann) of Raleigh, NC, Tony Mitchum (Deborah) of Raleigh, NC and Maxine C. White of Laurinburg, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.
