She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Margaret Linton Mathis; her close friends, Wayne Bryant, Lessie Linton and Michelle Tolson; her husband Edward Starling; her daughters, Janet, Chrissy Blackburn (Rawhide) of Pageland, S. C. and Becky Cason (Matthew) of Society Hill, S. C.; her grandchildren, Margaret Alice Wilson, Baden Edward Davis, Samantha Grace and Jacob Bryant Cason; her nieces, Djuana Buchanan, Brandi Hansen, Marian, Edwina and Margo Mathis; her nephew Brandon Buchanan; and her siblings, Woodrow W. Mathis, Jr. and Anna Margaret Tucker.
