She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde D. McDougald and Sarah Frances Rainwater McDougald; her spouse W. C. Stanton; her son Prentiss Kinney Stanton; her grandson Alexander Stanton; and her brothers, Boyce McDougald, Richard Edwin McDougald and Gene Clyde McDougald.
She is survived by: her sons, David Wilson Stanton of Cheraw, SC, Clyde Townsend Stanton (Regina) of Birmingham, AL and Hugh Joyce Stanton (Jennie) of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Michael Stanton, Wilson Stanton, David Stanton and Kate Stanton; and her sisters, Geneva McGilvray of Moultrie, GA, Laura Ann Haley (Charles) of Cheraw, SC and Sue Frances Lee of Cheraw, SC..
