It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ragan Dove of Cheraw, South Carolina, born in Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Ragan and Blanche Ragan; her spouse Lorenze "Buie" Dove; her sister Wanda McMillan; and her brother-in-law Charles Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Dove (Gail) of Lilesville, NC, Lisa Adair (Tim) of Cheraw, SC and Phyllis Cameron (Bain) of South Hill, VA; her grandchildren, Austin (Hannah), Elizabeth, Matthew and Timothy; her great grandchildren, Madelynn, Addison and Mason; her sisters, Joyce Martin (Joe) of Greenville, NC, Vivian Rogers of Kenly, NC and Ethel Eckenstein; her aunt Kate McBride; and her close friend Durand Pressley of Cheraw, SC..
