He was predeceased by: his parents, Furmon Oxendine and Thelma Margaret Oxendine; his wife Debra Ann Oxendine; his brothers, Robert Locklear, William Ray Oxendine and Michael Oxendine; his daughter-in-law Josette Winslow Oxendine; and his sister-in-law Carol Purvis (Bobby Purvis).
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Oxendine, Jr. of Society Hill, SC. and Bryan Chapman of Society Hill, SC.; his siblings, Thurman Oxendine (Myrtle-Ann) of Laurinburg, NC, Chris Oxendine (Debra) of Maxton, NC and Sue Koeing (Paul) of Parkton, NC; his sister-in-law Rhonda Lindsey (Theodore) of Cheraw, SC.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Chapman, Talon Oxendine, Ronald Hyde and Ian Palmatier; and his great grandchildren, Alaya Hyde, Hayden Palmatier, Axle Brigman and Atlas Walters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
