She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wellington Wertley and Catherine Sukeena Wertley. She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Asner Cooper (Bob) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Julie Doty (Doug) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Lawson Brown, Corey Cooper (Naisha), Emilee Doty and Paige Doty; and her great grandchildren, Caiden, Corey Anthony and Camden.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of one's choice.
