Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Rogers, Jr. and Margaret A. Rogers; and his son Robert Stonewall Rogers, IV. He is survived by: his wife Gerry G. Rogers; and his children, Andy Rogers (Amy), Grayson Cauthen, Nancy Griggs and Meredith Creech (Dean). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (300 Market St, Cheraw, SC 29520). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at the Saint David's Cemetery (91 Church St, Cheraw, SC 29520).
