He is survived by: his wife Peggy Whittemore; his children, Earl Clifford Whittemore IV (Sara) of Durham, NC and Brandy Lee Cooley of Largo, FL; his siblings, Thomas Whittemore of Jamestown, NY, Earl Whittemore III of Gulfport, MS and Dee Turan of Saucier, MS; and his grandchildren, Angel Hilson, Jasper Hurd and Sorin Whittemore.
Richard dedicated over 25 years of his career to the Schaeffler Group, where he worked as a machinist and made lasting contributions to the company.
