She was predeceased by: her parents, Carnell Hatcher and Margaret Cumber Hatcher; her daughter Alison Ard; and her father-in-law Liston E. Ard. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth D. Ard; her children, Bryan Ard (Meredith) of Moore, SC and Brooke Ard Maxwell (Jason) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandson Ben Ard; her brother Greg Hatcher (Lynn) of Wallace, SC; her mother-in-law Rosie Belle Ard; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Ard (Bonnie) of Cheraw, SC and William Lewis (Anne) of Cheraw, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
