It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Helms Jr. (Cheraw, South Carolina), born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Helms, and Eula Mae Helms, Sr.; and his siblings, Louise Helms, Kathleen Helms and Ricky Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Helms Gaddy (Schaun) of Morven, NC and Tony Helms (Brenda) of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Heather Davide (Danny), Tai Anastacia Yancey, Skyler Helms, Sierra Helms and Sydney Helms; his great grandchildren, Leonardo, Jacob and Aurora; and his siblings, Shirley Moore Lindsey (Earl) of Ruby, SC, Pat Tucker (Mac) of Ruby, SC and Tommy Douglas Helms (Darlene) of Turbeville, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
