She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie McQuage and Mae Clark McQuage; her husband James Steve Starling; and her brothers, Jerry McQuage and William McQuage.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Starling (Dallas) of Cheraw, SC, Anthony Starling of Cheraw, SC and Bridgette Starling of Cheraw, SC; her siblings, Johnny McQuage (Mary) of Cheraw, SC, Billy Joe "Crow" McQuage (Patricia) of Wallace, SC and Eva Hewitte of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Mary Jane Starling, Landon Starling, Bradley Weatherford, Gauge Starling and Victoria Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Bittle and Waylon Bittle.
