He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth Nelson Threadgill; his sisters, Christine Threadgill and Frances Threadgill; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Leviner. He is survived by: his parent Lucille Threadgill of Cheraw, SC; his children, Timmy Creech of Cheraw, SC and Linda Benefiel (Larry) of Marion, IN; his sister Faye Leviner of Wallace, SC; his grandchildren, Lindsey Benefiel, Zachary Benefiel, Ashley Creech, Contessa Creech, Hannah Creech and Timmy Creech II; and his great grandchild Leon Benefiel.
