She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Brown and John Brown; her husband Bill Smith; her son Jim Smith; and her sisters, Louise Nesmith and Eva Coe.
She is survived by: her children, John "Kin" McKinley Smith and Kathy Cassidy (Bobby); her grandchildren, Kelly Wallace (Lance) and Kris Cassidy (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Makayla, Logan and Katie Lewis; and her brother John "Bill" Brown (Martha).
