She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Turnage and Newell Graves Turnage; her husband Rev. Larry Dean Melton; her son Larry Dean Melton Jr.; and her siblings, Wayne Turnage, Sharon Garris, Jane Wallace, Patsy Turnage, Millie Arant, Judy Suggs and Denise Conrad.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Melton of Chesterfield, SC and Dana M. Tarlton (Derrick) of Chesterfield, SC; her grandchildren, Brittany Burgess, Ashley Tarlton, Hustin, Baelee, Graecee Anna Melton and Victoria Thompson; and her siblings, Linda Davis (Robert) of Chesterfield, SC, Ronnie Turnage (Gertrude) of Chesterfield, SC, Steve Turnage (Sandra) of Cheraw, SC and Joseph Turnage (Cathy) of Pageland, SC.
