He is survived by: his wife Deborah D. Covington; his children, Julius Covington Jr. (Tammy) of Florence, SC, Jason Covington Sr. of Cheraw, SC and Paige Covington Efird of Cheraw, SC; and his siblings, Charles Covington Sr. of Cheraw, SC and Ann Hiers of Florence, SC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
