She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Herman and Hazel Bradshaw Christian; and her siblings, Dale Christian, Jack Christian and Aubrey Russell.

She is survived by: her husband Clyde Carson; her children, Chris Christian (Lori) of Tennessee and Tammie Quick (Kevin Gregson) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her sister Sandra Bartley (Archie) of Springfield, VA; and her grandchildren, Maxwell Gregson, Corinne Gregson, Felicia Christian and Alex Christian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
