He is survived by: his daughter Lisa; his wife Elizabeth Brasington Witherspoon; his daughter Anne; his sons-in-law, Steve Gordy of Southport, NC and Sam Yancey of Cheraw; his son John; his daughter-in-law Regina Witherspoon of Cheraw; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Nikki Witherspoon of Hartsville, SC.; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law Ray Howe of Easley, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
