He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lonnie and Ida Mae Clark McQuage; and his siblings, William McQuage, Jerry McQuage and Linda Sue Starling.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wright McQuage; his daughters, Tonya McLendon (Jeff) of Cheraw, SC and Karen Griggs (Timothy) of Patrick, SC; his siblings, Billy Joe "Crow" McQuage (Patricia) of Wallace, SC and Eva Hewitt of Cheraw, SC; and his grandchildren, Dylan Roscoe (Haley Austin) of Thomasville, NC, Ethan Griggs of Patrick, SC and Raegan Griggs of Patrick, SC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Cheraw Church of God Building Fund, 100 Pecan Orchard Road, Cheraw, SC 29520.
